This red sweep second hand is designed for use with standard I-shaft battery quartz clock movements and is not suitable for mechanical movements. It measures 3-5/8” from the mounting post to the tip of the hand (tail not included), with an overall length of 5-5/8”, making it appropriate for medium to larger clock dials that require a longer, highly visible second hand.
The back of the hand features a small rear mounting post that inserts into the center hole of compatible quartz movements, ensuring proper alignment and smooth sweep operation. This style is no longer being manufactured, and once remaining stock is sold, it cannot be restocked.
