This red sweep second hand with a gold-colored center is designed specifically for standard “I” shaft battery-operated quartz clock movements and is not suitable for mechanical movements. The hand measures 1-1/8” (29mm) from the center of the mounting post to the end tip, with an overall length of 1-5/8” (41mm), making it appropriate for smaller clock dials where a shorter second hand is required.
The back of the hand features a rear mounting post that fits directly into the center hole of compatible “I” shaft quartz movements, ensuring proper alignment and smooth sweep operation. This style is no longer being manufactured, and availability is limited.
