Paragon AC Synchronous Motor – 1 RPM – 240V 60Hz – CLOSEOUT

Paragon AC Synchronous Motor – 1 RPM – 240V 60Hz – DRV-2 – New Vintage Inventory

This Paragon AC synchronous motor is a genuine piece of new vintage inventory and is no longer manufactured. Based on the original markings, it is rated for 240V / 60Hz operation with a 1 RPM output and 3-watt power draw. Like other synchronous motors, it is designed to lock its rotation speed to the AC line frequency, providing stable, consistent motion for timing and sequencing applications.

With its slow 1 RPM output, this motor is typically used for driving timing cams, rotation displays, sequencing mechanisms, or slow-turn clock or instrument functions rather than direct timekeeping shafts. It is intended for continuous-duty operation and is well suited to applications requiring precise, steady rotation over long periods. This motor comes from limited new vintage stock and cannot be replaced once sold.
