Made of metal. Counterbalanced to keep accurate time. These will fit on most battery clock movements. You will need a high torque motor/movement to run them. The holes would need some modification if you wanted to use these on antique or modern mechanical driven movements. The minute hand is 10″ long (measurement is from the center of the mounting hole to the tip of the hand).
